It’s just one more week until Comeback hits shops and we’re getting pretty excited about it all. We’ve got a load of new interviews going up over the next week and will try to keep everyone posted about it as we count down the days. Below are a couple to get you started.
Also, in the next couple of days we’ll be posting a store signing schedule for Micheal and Ed. Michael will be signing at Big B Comics as well as Silver Snail. Ed will be making an appearance at Rx Comics, Tazmania Comics and Metropolis Comics. Times and dates to be posted this week!
First off, we’ve got a podcast interview with the fine folks over at Noncanonical. Ed sits down and talks with Joey Morris about Comeback, Murder Book and his own career in comics. If you haven’t already given Noncanonical a listen, we highly recommend it. They’re a great bunch of guys and post a really entertaining podcast.

Alright folks, as promised, here are the detail on the NYCC Exclusive Signed and Numbered Advance Ashcan Edition of Comeback #1 (only 100 available).
The Ashcan is a full color, 24 page comic, featuring the ENTIRE first issue of Comeback #1. So, not only are you getting one of the more elusive Image exclusives at NYCC, you’ll also get to read Comeback #1 a full month before everyone else! The downside is that you’re going to have to wait a month longer than everyone else for #2.
Michael Walsh and Ed Brisson will be signing and selling these beauties at the Image Comics booth (#1229) from 7pm until 8pm on Thursday, October 11.
Then on Friday, October 12 we will be at Michael Walsh’s Artist Alley table (Table #Q18) from 12-2pm signing and selling books.
If there are copies left over after the two signings, although we don’t suspect there will be, we’ll announce another signing as well. Follow us on Twitter for announcements and details: @edbrisson and @mister_walsh
If you can’t make it to either signing, Michael will be at Artist Alley table Q18 for the whole show, so please do pop by and visit him and support an up and coming artist. He’ll have prints, Murder Book and original artwork for sale.
See you guys there!
I’ve just updated the gallery to include the not only the “OG” cover to Comeback, but also the exclusive, NYCC Limited edition version, the cover to issue #2 and the first four pages of issue #1. Have a peek! Tell your friends! Order the hell out of this book!
Michael comes in at about the 45 minute mark, although it’s worth giving the whole thing a listen. They talk about Comeback, Michael’s work on Murder Book and Brothers James with Ryan Ferrier (available from 215 Ink) and his process.
Thanks again to Where Monsters Dwell for the support.
If you’re planning to head out to NYCC, you should be sure to check out the Image/Multiversity party on Friday, Oct. 12th at the Houndstooth Pub! Michael and Ed will both be there.
Speaking of NYCC. Stay tuned to the site for details on the NYCC Exclusive Signed and Numbered Comeback #1 — limited to only 100 copies! Details on Tuesday, October 9th.

One of the cool things about coming out to FanExpo is that I Michael and I get to hang out in person. The last couple days we’ve been hard at work on Comeback. Michael’s drawing the last couple pages to Comeback #2 and I’m banging away on the script for #3.
See you dudes at Fan Expo!
COMEBACK writer Ed Brisson and artist Michael Walsh will be sharing a booth at Fan Expo Canada this year. Swing on by to get a sneak peek at some COMEBACK pages and take away some COMEBACK swag (buttons, bookmarks, etc). While there, be sure to pick up copies of MURDER BOOK from Ed and prints from Michael.
Also, be sure to check out the panel WRITERS UNITE! PITCHING YOUR CREATOR-OWNED COMICS:

Listen closely as creators Ed Brisson (Comeback), Ray Fawkes (One Soul), John Layman (Chew) and moderator Jim Zub (Skullkickers) discuss pitching their comic series to publishers and offer advice on how to climb to the top of the treacherous submission mountain along with comic writing techniques and amusing anecdotes.
